With more than 20 years of experience at sea, our captain brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and passion to every journey. Having spent decades navigating the waters around Tenerife and the Canary Islands, he knows the coastline, marine wildlife, and hidden gems of the region better than anyone.
Safety, comfort, and exceptional guest experiences are always his top priorities. Whether guiding guests to encounter whales and dolphins in their natural habitat, finding the perfect secluded bay for a swim, or sharing fascinating insights about the local marine environment, his expertise ensures every trip is both memorable and enjoyable.
Meet Ari – Deckhand & Guest Host
Ari is the friendly face that welcomes guests aboard the Papillon Catamaran and ensures that every experience is enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. With a natural talent for hospitality and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences, Ari takes care of our guests throughout the excursion, making sure everyone feels relaxed and well looked after.
From serving refreshments and assisting with activities to answering questions and helping guests make the most of their time on board, Ari plays an important role in delivering the high level of personal service that defines Papillon Experiences.

Peter is the founder and driving force behind Papillon Experiences. Passionate about hospitality, the ocean, and Tenerife, he is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for every guest.
As the main point of contact, Peter personally assists with reservations, trip planning, and special requests, ensuring that every experience reflects the high standards and personal service that define the Papillon brand.
His goal is simple: to help guests discover the very best of Tenerife while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Lander is the founder and creative force behind Lemongrass. Inspired by a passion for authentic Asian cuisine and exceptional hospitality, he has created a unique dining experience in the heart of Vilaflor.
Together with his team, Lander combines traditional flavours, fresh ingredients, and modern techniques to create dishes that are both authentic and innovative. Every meal is prepared with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
His vision is simple: to offer guests exceptional food, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable culinary experience in one of Tenerife's most beautiful settings.
